International Breastfeeding Symbol
Due to the fact that a bottle icon was used to signify baby-feeding locations in public places, Mothering magazine ran a contest in 2006 for a new symbol for breastfeeding that could be used to represent nursing mothers everywhere. This was the winning symbol - designed by a stay-at-home dad and graphic artist. These days, it can be seen all over the web and is quickly growing in popularity and use.
